What you will do

IC-Link by imec is imec’s rapidly growing ASIC services division.  We are helping customers to design chips and bring them to the prototype and the mass production stage in collaboration with leading wafer foundries and other suppliers. IC-Link by imec is globally active and to support our sales teams we are presently looking for a Sales Contract Officer.
You become part of a Business Development group that operates worldwide. As a Sales Contract Officer, you support our Business Development and Business Legal team, by coordinating the contract process and by contributing to the drafting and reviewing of business contracts. As such, you play a key role in ensuring a smooth interaction between all internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, your main responsibilities are:

  • Understand the high-level technical content and business strategy of the IC-Link by imec activities to communicate effectively with our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Business Legal team in timely drafting and reviewing standard agreements of low to medium complexity, in line with imec’s legal policies and procedures and financial goals;
  • Coordinating the full contract process from contract initiation until contract signature, including interacting with imec’s clients to duly finalize the agreements;
  • Supporting the Business Development team for nonstandard business models by coordinating the interaction between the relevant internal stakeholders (technical teams, legal, …). By doing so, you keep track of the status of current cases to ensure a good collaboration and diligent follow-up;
  • Organize the internal legal planning meetings.
  • Enter correctly and in a timely manner data in the CRM (Customer Relations Management) system.

Who you are

  • We are looking for an energetic and assertive colleague with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, and experience in drafting business contracts. We value a proactive, hands‑on team member who takes initiative and gets things done.
  • Our new team-mate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in legal or paralegal, sales administration, and business operations management.
  • Our clients-base is very international, so fluently in English is really a must.
  • We are looking forward to a colleague with great problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different personalities with different backgrounds.
