Ultra-low power wireless receiver design for brain computer interfaces
What you will do
- Design and verification of pulse-based Costas-loop system model
- Proposing block-level specifications from theoretical model
- Circuit innovation and implementation to build up the system
- Simulation and verification for block-level circuits
- Layout design and post-layout simulation of the receiver
- Possible chip fabrication and measurement depending on the progress and chip tapeout availability

Who you are
- Major in electronic engineering
- Motivated in RF/Analog/Mixed circuit and systems
- Available for >10 months (preferrable 12 months)
- Solid background in RF/Analog/Mixed circuit design
- Good understanding in RF/Wireless systems as well as basic circuits (OPAMP, filter, LNA, oscillators, etc.)
- Experience in schematic and layout design in EDA tools like Cadence
- Good written and verbal English skills
