Operations Efficiency Engineer (temporary assignment)
We are seeking an Operations Efficiency Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day follow-up of the most critical lots at Imec. This means daily alignment with program management to make sure priorities and operational resources are deployed as efficiently as possible.
The assignment
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies.
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement data-backed solutions to optimize operational processes. This includes everything from supply chain logistics to internal workflows and customer service protocols.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with department heads and team members to understand their operational challenges and needs, ensuring that proposed solutions are practical and scalable.
Required knowledge and skills
- Experience: Proven experience in a data analysis, operations management, or business intelligence role. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting software.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Location
We provide the flexibility to work both from our office premises and remotely from home. This to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being an integral part of our team. An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required. It's not possible to work 100% remote.
