Lab assistant (interim)

Assist in chip preparation, fluidic setup assembly, buffer preparation, and conduct routine measurements

The assignment

• Prepare test chips, including cleaning and pre-treatment steps such as UV/plasma exposure. 
• Assemble experimental setups by carefully handling and connecting flow cells, electrodes, and fluidic tubing. 
• Perform routine nanopore measurements by operating the equipment and software under supervision, ensuring data quality and conformity with established to protocols. 
• Provide general lab support, including maintenance of materials and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required knowledge and skills

• Education level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related field. - Solid knowledge and lab safety practices. 
• Practical experience with lab techniques, including proficient use of micropipettes. 
• Comfortable performing precise, repetitive tasks and handling fragile components. 
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently after training.

Location
