Process Integration Engineer for Advanced Processing Services
What you will do
- Engage directly with imec’s strategic partners on processing requests, specifications, and deliveries.
- Project lead for new Low Volume Production requests (NPI) from imec’s partners.
- Definition of process flows based on technical description agreed with the customer.
- Daily follow up of the lots in progress, taking responsibility on issue resolution, reporting and escalations.
- Define actions when in-line date is Out of Spec (OoS) or drifting.
- Ensure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
- Summarize and report in-line process data using statistical data analysis.
- Troubleshoot integration issues together with imec’s Process and Integration Experts.

Who you are
- You have a BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You are proactive and can work independently.
- You have a high level of integrity and accountability.
- You have a strong ability to learn and apply critical thinking skills.
- You possess proven problem-solving skills and have a pro-active attitude.
- You are well organised and a good planner.
- You have the flexibility to change between different projects according to the required priorities.
- Experience in semiconductor process technology and wafer fabrication is an added advantage.
- You have good communication skills and like to interact with other people, even in other groups and departments.
- Since you will be working in a highly international environment, fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
