Process Development Coordinator for Application Sectors

Supporting specific Advanced Process development

You will play a key role in enabling processes in imec’s 300mm pilot line for different application sectors within imec. Many of these projects deviate from standard Si CMOS processing and therefore require dedicated process development combined with a tailored operational approach.
Your expertise will be essential in shaping bestpractice methodologies for developing processes on novel materials, ensuring that both technical requirements and operational needs are fully met. Your primary focus areas include chemical mechanical polishing (CMP), cleaning, dry etching and bonding.

What you will do

  • You will be the first point of contact for assessing and enabling process development activities for challenging, state of the art application sector projects in imec’s 300mm FAB.
  • You will support project intake by defining scope and resource needs and by translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.
  • You ensure alignment among technical and integration partners and act as a key driver in implementing new manufacturing procedures into the 300 mm production line.
  • You will transfer existing 200 mm processes and coordinate development activities in etch, clean, CMP, and bonding through close collaboration with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders.
  • In addition, you will oversee and support efforts to improve process and module maturity using tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, and FDC.

What we do for you

We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
