Experienced HR professional US – Kissimmee, Florida (Hybrid)

 

This exciting opportunity invites an experienced HR professional to further build and operationalize an irresistible workplace & people framework for our imec US team.

 

 

 

What [ES1] you will do

As an HR professional you will be part of the bigger Operations team within the US. Together with your HR colleague your responsibilities include:

 

Ø  Talent development and training: run talent reviews and implement leadership development, succession planning, and talent management frameworks to strengthen organizational capability and build scalable leadership pipelines across the U.S. organization.

 

Ø  Organisational design and change management, advice our leaders in how to organise imec US within a matrix organisation in line with global standards. Including evaluation of team structures, role clarity, spans and layers, and long-term organizational scalability aligned with business growth objectives.

Ø  Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance, managing employment law, data protection, and local HR

policies.

Ø  Act as a trusted HR partner, supporting leaders and employees while managing key external partners.

Ø  Talent Acquisition and onboarding, running a scalable hiring process and driving recruitment to grow imec US

Ø  Serve as a thought leader in collaboration with other leaders to help envision the strategic decisions to continue attracting and retaining top talent.[C(2] [ES3]

Who you are

Ø  Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with a proven experience in HR Business partnering, organisational design and talent development.  

Ø  Provide strategic & operational balance through an ability to think strategically about organizational growth while maintaining focus on operational execution and compliance.

Ø  Demonstrate autonomy & initiative through high degree of self-management, and the ability to operate effectively without direct local HR supervision.

Ø  Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to act as a cultural bridge between Leuven headquarters and US employees working remotely and located across physical sites.

Ø  You hold a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, reflecting your expertise and commitment to professional HR standards.

Ø  You are based in the Orlando metro area and are regularly able to work from the Neocity site in Kissimmee. [CB4] 

 

 


 [ES1]@Justin Lee (imec) does this posting need more meat? I know the list of areas you cover is very large. Would it be helpful to include a list of many of them at the end or best to keep it at this high level?

 [C(2]Very high level. @Emily Smith (imec) something specific in mind?

 [ES3]I think about the role Justin has had in envisioning new rewards/benefits, assessing and selecting new vendors, etc. I didn’t see those types of proactive initiatives covered elsewhere. I edited the bullet slightly too. I don’t think you want a hire that just sits in a chair and takes direction from BE or other leaders. I think you want someone who’s going to take some initiative (like Justin) to raise ideas and opportunities to continue to evolve the function and offerings.
