As Change Manager Smart Fab you fulfill a pivotal role for effective implementation of our advances in industrial automation, ensuring stakeholder needs are identified and considered, and users will be prepared for adoption of the new systems.

The assignment

  • As a member of our Fab Automation & Applications team, you will receive a jump start into system capabilities from CIM Product Owners (CIM: Computer-integrated manufacturing). You will understand current roll-out plans, as well as future ambitions. 
  • We will rely on your expertise to identify missing Change Management items necessary for successful implementation. We will also rely on your experience to review and improve existing Change Management activities. You will present corresponding proposals, plans, and progress at the Smart Fab steering committee, ensure timely decision making and diligent implementation. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of our change trajectory. 
  • You will identify Change Agents in R&D departments and ensure we establish effective communication channels for receiving their requirements, having them involved in User Acceptance Tests, and them providing specific training material. 
  • You will collaborate with the existing training function in Fab Operations to develop training material for the new way of working and to update job descriptions for future hiring activities. 
  • You will develop the communication strategy, derive and implement communication means, monitor their effectiveness and drive improvements as needed. 

Required knowledge and skills

  • You either have an education in engineering or exact sciences, and practice project management. Or you have a HR related education and practice in a highly technical environment. * You bring experience in people Change Management, preferably certified, and have proven your knowledge in practice to be effective. 
  • You take initiative early – you do not depend on completeness of project plans – and are successful in building coalitions.
  • You have gone through a digital transformation change journey, so can tell from your own experience what it takes for automation initiatives to be successful and which contributions are necessary by which role. 
  • Experience in a complex manufacturing environment – characterized by demanding processes, high product mix, delicate materials and a diversity of stakeholders involved – is a strong asset, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
