Category Buyer Indirect ICT - FIN (temporary assignment)

As a category buyer you will provide efficient procurement management of goods and services, in cooperation with all stakeholders involved.

The assignment

• You will provide efficient procurement management of goods and services, in cooperation with all stakeholders involved.
• You ensure that the organization selects the most appropriate goods and services based on price, quality, delivery time, services support and the added value a supplier can bring.
• You autonomously manage the procurement of products/services for dedicated category ICT & FIN to select the best source in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

Required knowledge and skills

• You analyze the customer’s request, determine selection/bidding criteria, request quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP), select external providers, evaluate offers and  negotiate terms & conditions
• You develop a procurement strategy in cooperation with the internal clients
• You promote the use of best practice to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures 
• You have min. 5 years’ experience in managing contracts and vendors in ICT and FIN Experience with (managed) service contract drafting and software agreements 
• You have a solid understanding of procurement best practices; experience in telecommunications, datacenters, software or electronics is advantageous. 
• You can work following the Agile and waterfall method. 
• You ha a proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English 
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
