What you will do

You will be our Software Application Engineer and part of our multidisciplinary team to develop software solutions that can be used for research in health and agrifood. • Create graphical user interfaces for those applications that can run under Windows and/or Linux.
  • Connect your applications with our cloud infrastructure and embedded devices.
  • Translate project goals and use cases into requirements, define specifications, design, implement, verify and validate your software.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and end-users to improve the application.
  • Release and maintain application software.
  • Document your activities and designs to comply with applicable regulations and standards.

You will be part of the solutions team in OnePlanet and are surrounded with colleagues also working on software, mechanical and electronic solutions supporting our researchers. And being part of the bigger imec, also working with colleagues from the Holst Center (imec Eindhoven) and imec Leuven (Belgium).
