Imec USA is looking for a PhD student intern for an exciting new research program on Low power distributed and collaborative artificial intelligence (AI) leveraging on-device learning at our Berkeley location in California, for Summer 2021.
In exchange for your talent, passion and expertise, you will join an ambitious organization, with challenges there for the taking. You will have an assigned mentor to guide you through this highly valuable, hands on learning experience. You will work with top researchers from imec and from our industry partners.

This opportunity is based at our newest research center in Berkeley, led by long-term technology pioneer and visionary Jan Rabaey. Here, we dive into mid-to-long-term outcomes of technological evolutions. We are currently focusing on developing novel architectures for machine learning and artificial intelligence and system technology co-optimization exploration.
