Process Engineer (Metrology)

What you will do

You will:

  • be responsible for state-of-the-art CDSEM tools in imec 300mm cleanroom
  • follow up on the tool status and proactively flag and solve tools issues or drifts in close collaboration with imec engineering team and the tool manufacturer
  • train and qualify new users coming from various companies and having different experience
  • be responsible of the start-up of new CDSEM tools (from installation to full release to the fab)
  • develop CDSEM solutions on advanced imec processes (from the definition of best practices to be deployed to all users to the invention of innovative methods to solve new challenges)
  • will be responsible to organize and maintain a knowledge-based archive, containing tool information, application notes, Best Known Methods (BKM).
  • actively contribute to the research programs (e.g. 3D program & logic program) and joint development programs with external partners through the execution of work packages or vendor demos
  • report results internally and externally (module meetings, customer weekly)

Who you are

  • You have a Master degree in Applied Sciences, Material Engineering or Electronics
  • You have interest, or experience, in metrology in a high tech cleanroom;
  • You are able to work in complex environments with various partners and customers
  • You are flexible and able to deal with change or ambiguity
  • You work accurately and have attention to details
  • You can work independently and are proactive;
  • You have excellent English communication skills
  • You have excellent presentation skills.
