The Compute and Memory Device (CMD) department of imec develops a wide variety of device concepts, both for memory and logic applications. To optimize the research efficiency, the department consists of several functional teams that have specific expertise fields, infrastructure, and methodologies. Between these teams, the Memory Device team (MDE) develops emerging concepts and technologies for active memory applications. Over the last years MDE has been gaining expertise in various memory technologies, such as Resistive RAM, Phase-Change memory, DRAM, Floating-body cell, etc., as well as in selector device concepts like Ovonic Threshold Selector, Oxide-Semiconductor based selectors like Indium-Gallium-Zinc-Oxide (IGZO), etc. To strengthen the expertise of the MDE team, we offer a team leader position. This position of course requires technical and scientific device background, but a large emphasis is also given to people management skills.
