Over the recent years imec has developed to a mature level a broad portfolio of memory device technologies (Flash, phase-change, resistive-switching, ferroelectric, magnetic RAM, etc.). To further strengthen the memory characterization team, we are looking for a researcher with solid technical skills in electrical testing as well as experience and good knowledge in at least one these above-mentioned memory technologies.
This position will be responsible for benchmarking various memory technologies from the viewpoint of specific applications satisfying stringent security specs. The position will therefore require high flexibility to adapt to different device physics and characterization methodologies, as well as a creative mindset to innovate on cell designs and/or testing algorithms in view of satisfying those specs.
