Imec.IC-link helps start-ups, SMEs and established OEMs as well as universities realize their ideas in silicon by providing low-cost prototyping, volume production and system integration of electronic assemblies. 
Our world class industrial service experts in nanoelectronics offer tailored support across the entire IC value chain, from idea to mass production, and collaborate with leading partners in the semiconductor ecosystem. Our highly experienced ASIC development team realizes over 600 successful tape-outs per year across a variety of technologies (CMOS, GaN-on-SOI, Si-Photonics).
Imec.IC-link is part of the nanoelectronics R&D center imec, with headquarters in Leuven, Belgium and is a TSMC value chain aggregator for Europe, North America, Russia, Brazil and India.

What you will do

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the marketing strategy, advocacy and brand awareness of imec.IC-link in North America and support to imec Corporate marketing. All of this, in close collaboration with imec.IC-link marketing and imec corporate marketing:

  • You will build a marketing strategy to increase the brand visibility of imec.IC-link, including imec corporate R&D where relevant and this in close collaboration with corporate marketing, across startups, and system companies in industries of strategic interest (as example: automotive, health, space, consumer electronics, ...). 
  • You will work with a cross-functional team across corporate marketing, partnerships, sales and more. In this role, you'll be involved with marketing strategy from beginning to end to create/execute go-to-market plans and campaigns and scale the business for imec.
  • In this role, you will also play a key role in developing product narrative by messaging and positioning imec.IC-link’s offers. 
  • Your open communication, enthusiasm and drive will be key to the success of your role.

Who you are

  • A Bachelor’s Degree of communication or Eng/Science Major with 5+ years of experience and an extensive knowledge of both MarCom and the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with strategic marketing, branding and communication strategies leveraging media platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM is a plus.
  • A preferably large, personal network in the North America semiconductor ecosystem (in particular universities, startups, accelerators and incubators).
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, problem solver and “always improving” mentality 
  • Customer driven 
  • Excellent networker and communicator with good presentation skills, and ability to work with varied audiences and international culture, community
  • Strong analytic skills, flexible and result-driven.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are an asset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (20 - 40% of time) mostly in US.
