ICT IAM Solution Specialist
What you will do
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist who possesses a deep understanding of IAM processes and can seamlessly translate them into IT flows. The ideal candidate will excel in integrating IAM tools with various source systems and provisioning to IT tools such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and others. This role will specifically focus on design & implementation of IAM domains including, identity governance and administration (IGA), remote access, single sign-on authentication, account management for both Windows and UNIX environments, multifactor authentication, partner access, and privileged access management.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and Implement IAM Solutions: Develop robust IAM flows that align with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements, with a particular emphasis on domains such as identity governance & administration, remote access, access scenarios for imec co-workers and partners, single sign-on, and account management.
- IAM Process Analysis: Analyse IAM processes and translate them into efficient and effective IT flows, considering the unique challenges posed by remote access management, access scenarios, and (privileged) account management in both Windows and UNIX environments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate IAM solutions with source & destination systems, ensuring a smooth data flow for various access scenarios.
- Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of IAM tools, addressing specific requirements related to remote access, single sign-on, account management, (multi factor) authentication, and other identified domains.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM architectures, processes, and integration points.
- Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related issues.
- Roadmap Definition and Ownership: Help define a roadmap for the IAM service together with the enterprise architect(s). Own the roadmap and ensure the delivery and completion of the roadmap.
- Assess and Recommend Best Practices: Assess, recommend, and implement IAM best practices within the context of remote access, access scenarios, single sign-on, and account management, tailoring solutions to meet the unique challenges posed by each domain.
- Facilitate Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to facilitate the integration of IAM tools with source & destination systems, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management for the specified domains.
- Stay Updated: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the IAM domain.
- Act as SME: Act as a subject matter expert on IAM-related matters, providing guidance to internal teams.
- Roadmap Management: Ensure the IAM service roadmap is followed, driving the timely delivery and completion of all associated tasks and projects.

Who you are
- Proven experience as an IAM specialist with hands-on expertise in implementing and managing IAM solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM processes and the ability to translate them into IT flow and architecture.
- Proficient in integrating IAM tools with source systems and provisioning to IT tools, including AD, EntraID, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, conveying expertise in the specified domains.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to identity and access management.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset, dedicated to advancing IAM practices within the specified focus areas.
