As an inspirational Fab Thin Film Deposition Engineering Manager, with a strong technical background in the area of PVD, CVD, ALD, Epitaxy and Furnace techniques, you are responsible for the day-to-day support to the Fab in these techniques. Together with your team, you develop new thin film deposition processes specifically for the area of CMORE (MEMS, actuators, sensors). You are responsible for improvement projects, cycle time and operational efficiency.
Your industry experience will help you to implement methodology in order to develop robust deposition processes. Efficient solutions for day-to-day problems regarding process stability and quality in our 200mm (focused on MTM high end specialty components) and 300mm (focused on advanced scaling) R&D Fabs are your first focus. Your practical experience in deposition techniques is crucial to manage goals, milestones, set the right priorities and ensure high quality processes for your team. You enjoy leading your team with solid knowledge, clear goals and up to date work planning. Being a communicative people manager, you motivate your team to reach challenging milestones. You ensure the daily collaboration with operations, hardware engineering, the process development teams as well as equipment suppliers run smoothly.

You have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences. Relevant hands-on experience in thin film deposition, process development within the semi-conductor industry is required. You have a passion for progressive technology and processes. You understand the interaction between hardware and process and are able to set-up the right characterization for processes in development and tool monitoring. You have experience in efficiently managing a team and are enthusiastic to take up challenges and reach ambitious objectives with your team. Sharing your experience and knowledge within your team members give you energy in your job. As you will work in and with cross functional teams, strong communication and reporting competencies are required, as well as excellent planning and organizational skills.
