Clinical Data Coordinator (Consultant)

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Data Coordinator to join our team in Leuven, to support the development of a radically innovative testing solution for airborne infectious diseases, such as SARS-CoV-2.. The Clinical Data Coordinator shall independently perform all clinical data collecting and cleaning activities and is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the clinical data. Further responsibilities shall include support on data processing activities and study level documents, e.g. Protocol Deviation Specification, Data Validation specification, etc.

Clinical Data Coordinator (Consultant)
The assignment
- Interact with all team members to ensure all data are correctly entered into the database and to develop study-specific edit check criteria.
- Understand the requirements for study implementation and data collection.
- Report data metrics and data trends maintaining organized and complete study documentation.
- Identify data conflicts and issues.
- Reconcile data from multiple sources.
- Manage time effectively according to aggressive project schedules.
- Quickly adapt to new project requirements and effectively manage changing requests.
Required knowledge and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences or related field.
- 1+ years’ experience in comparable position in clinical research preferred.
- Working knowledge of database organization and validation.
- Understanding of clinical trial terminology desirable.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Immediate availability to come and work at the Imec facilities in Leuven is a strong bonus.
