Drive to contribute to a “Bathroom for Health” by the development of smart biosensors

Biochemical Researcher

What you will do

We need you as a Biochemical Researcher to be part of our interdisciplinary team to investigate technologies which can be used for creating innovative health solutions. The main project you will be part of is related to the sensor development for “a bathroom for health” project, but you will also be actively involved in other projects. You will work in a multidisciplinary team of sensor researchers, electronic engineers, biomedical engineers, and data scientists. From time-to-time, you will also interact with customers and suppliers to align on planning, progress, and transfer of results. In this start-up like and hands-on environment you will have the opportunity to build up competence and technically lead projects on the biochemical side. Other tasks will include:

  • Execution of OnePlanet biosensor research and development.
  • Identifying the appropriate technologies and material selections that lead to innovative liquid sensors (applications) able to sense in the bathroom.
  • Design of Experiment (DOE) and use of statistical tools to evaluate and optimize biosensor performance.
  • Real-life validation of the prototypes, outside the biochemical lab environment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of leading technologies and products in the area of liquid sensors applications.
  • Provide input for new research topics.
  • Translate findings into publications and patent applications.
