Buses run from the Airport to Bilbao (Plaza Moyua); the bus company name is Bizkaibus, and the bus number is A3247.

Once in Plaza Moyua, you may take the Metro (in particular if you go to "Residencia Unamuno") or a taxi (if you go to Hotel Nervión).

The Metro Station Entrances  are easily recognizable, tunnel-like crystal entrances which look like gigantic wormholes.
All Metro stations are also indicated by a special symbol with interconnected red rings.
Plaza Moyua is an elliptical plaza, and the Metro is more or less diagonally across from the bus stop.
If you go to "Residencia Unamuno" take the train going to Urduliz or San Inazio, get off at "Sarriko" metro station and follow the instructions above.

WHAT CLOTHES TO BRING

Weather in Bilbao is NEVER predictable. Early September is usually pleasant, although it can rain quite often.
There are beaches relatively close by
(you can get to Plencia by Metro, for example, in about 40 minutes),
so we suggest you bring both swimsuits and rain gear.
